First off, I love the concept, I feel like Aang's timing wouldn't improve much as he got older.
The top frame of the characters is really gorgeous, the lighting is done very well, as are the textures. Don't worry about Aang's arm, it look super! I do think that his nose is a bit too triangular and geometric. It's a small thing I know- but it sort of bothers me, as it really seems to be the only flaw in the top.
I hate to say this, but the bottom frame is a sort of let down. I understand that you were going for a contrast between the moments, and showing it through the styles of art. But it comes across as a little lazy. I'm not saying that it can't work though. I think that if you added in maybe some shadows and highlights (I don't mean fully render, but think posterize or cut out on photoshop, isolate the values and exaggerate them), you could still achieve that contrast, but it would look more sophisticated. It's too much of a leap, and the quality of the bottom takes away from what you had at the top.
Really, it's a quick solution, and I think that it would do so much for this piece. Overall, it is good, the message is hilarious, and Katara's expressions say everything- that Aang really did ruin what would have been a great moment. Judging by the skin on the baby's hand, is it safe to say that that's Kya, since Tenzin is fair and Bumi looked to be fair skinned as well?
I hope that this helped and that you don't hate me too much! Good Luck!
